So good ! I was hesitant at first but hubby made me go & it was the only time I was glad I listened to him , lol . Food was DELICIOUS! A tad bit pricey but you get your foods worth for sure ! Customer service was GREAT ! We will for sure be going back .

At first I was lost and then I was found my GPS told me to stop and walk the rest away, I circled the block and pulled into where I smelled the smoker. Best BBQ lamb ribs. Bob was there and he new his Barbecue. I will be back with friends.

Super friendly staff, that has excellent customer service. I ordered a 3 meat combo and it was amazing. The cake was super moist (homemade) and the cobbler is Grandma approved. Basically a great investment in a full stomach of love!

The best BBQ I’ve had in my LIFE!! Wow! Do yourself a solid and stop in. Service is great, it’s almost like you’re family when you walk in. I wish I remembered to take a picture of my food because my brisket was perfectly marbled. The potato salad isn’t the kind with big chunks in it but still very good. They have Mac n cheese on the menu now as well. My family and I definitely enjoyed our stop in here and will most definitely be returning customers. This man knows the secret to perfectly succulent, flavorful bbq. I have to go take a nap now bc I’m in a good coma. Amazing !

Absolutely fantastic place to eat!!! Quiet homelike atmosphere, huge portions and great prices. The ribs and chicken platter was delicious, they have the best sauce. Everyone is incredibly friendly and on Friday’s they have live music, really cool. Can’t wait to bring friends and family here!

Food was ok lunch was very expensive almost 25$ Food was kept warm for too long ribs where overcooked and brisket was tough.

I always feel like I get MORE than I paid for. I will get the three meat plate and always eat more than I would normally eat in one sitting. When I leave, I'm fat, fat, full and still end up taking home enough leftovers for three or four sandwiches. Very reasonable considering what you get. Always willing to give you custom cuts without complaint. If you don't like marbling all you have to do is ask for lean and he will go out of his way to accommodate you with beautiful fat free cuts. This is the best B.B.Q. I've ever tasted anywhere. If I didn't appreciate the friendly owners and wish them great success I wouldn't even be posting this review. I'd rather keep it my secret spot. Go hungry and don't worry about getting full no matter what you order.

Perfectly smoked BBQ!

I love going here, customer service is unlike any other, everyone is super friendly and respectful, the food has ALWAYS been fresh, moist, tender and super flavorful. I went a few times alone during lunch breaks for my favorite smoked Turkey legs which is my absolute favorite, but this time I bought a family special when I say my family enjoyed everything, my husband said this will be our family meal place from here on out. And what I love the most is my husband doesn't eat beef nor pork but he loves lamb and chicken and Bob has lamb on the menu and not over priced. I love this place and will continue to support and spend my money here everytime I want BBQ.

I ordered ribs and sausage. I didn’t realize until I got home that he gave me ribs and brisket. I HATE BRISKET. When you try to call them they never answer. The ribs were good but I can’t rate anything else.

Slice brisket sandwich and coleslaw done right. Brisket nice and tender,not rushed slow cooked right.

Bob's Smokehouse a quite ma and pa that has been open for 40 years! The Brisket here has a perfect smoke ring that seals in all the juices and moister in the meat, making every bite mouth watering. Bob does not mask his quality BBQ with an overbearing sauce because the brisket stands on its own. He will pour enough of his homemade sauce till you say when if you are a sauce person though. I enjoy the welcoming environment Bob provides and you can sit down to eat if you like. Also, Bob keeps a nice stock of meats ready or on the pit for you. We went twice at closing hours and Bob excitedly gave us all the BBQ we wanted. All Bob's BBQ is great, but I highly recommend the Brisket and Chicken. Both are as good , if not better, as any BBQ I have had on the East side and in my opinion, there is no better BBQ than in the Eastside of San Antonio. Every time my family and I sit at our table to eat our Bob's Smokehouse take out, it is quiet and all smiles. Love it!

We ordered 1lb of brisket and 1/2 chicken. Unfortunately it was terrible. Both tasted old and we wound up throwing out the chicken. So dry and tasted old. Will never go back.

Large portions, quick service, very friendly. You can order ahead on the phone or simply walk up and place an order via a pickup window.

Oh wow... we tried the 5 meats, beans, potato salad and corn. We got the peach cobbler for dessert with vanilla icecream. Everything was amazing! Plus the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.

Over priced, meats were under cooked. Pinto beans were greasy and unbeatable. Spent $50 on family order and only thing we ate was potato salad and it was bland

Bob is a humble man! Ex veteran and man... his bbq is so fire! I cowne from California, no real BBQ there , very generous with food! Cheap price! He gave us a tour of the back where all the magic happens, me and my wife(shes in the navy) were very pleased with our visit!

Meat was dry and brisket was mainly fat. Way over priced, $20 a pound??? Zomato is not the current menu and thought I was going to pay $12 per pound but that didn't happen. Sorry, but too overpriced for the quality of meat received.

Great place to eat. The owner is very friendly and it's been a family owned business for several years. The food was delicious and there's plentyof it. I had not had lamb before and was really good. Little messy but good. Nice gem of a restaurant that hidden away. Go see for yourself!!

Ordered 3 meat meal green beans no flavor brisket wasn’t on point, also order turkey leg that smelled spoiled and the food wasn’t hot. Very disappointed.
